I paint for several reasons.

1. I paint lessons for my students. I will show these as classroom demos.

2. I paint because I like to see what the paint will do. This includes wet in wet skies and backgrounds. It includes pouring and stirring acrylic inks on various surfaces. I throw paint on wet surfaces then find the flowers in it.

3. I paint because I want to capture a scene.

4. I paint to decorate my home and my friends' homes. My kitchen has a large painting of fruits and vegetables. 

 

More than anything else, I love to paint. I still expect to learn day by day.

 

I have to sell the paintings. I have no more wall space and my attic is filling up.
